Today it's my beebiejj’s birthday! So in honor of his BIG day, I want to share a little about mi and him..

He was with mi in Shanghai from the 2nd of February till the 22nd! We had spent a wonderful time together and went to lots of places in Shanghai! Thanks for being with me in the first few weeks! Because of your presence, I didn’t get homesick! Unfortunately, you were not able to stay till the end of my exchange, so we had to separate anyway! It was so hard to let u go..

This is the #10 highest building in the world! We had our dinner at the 55th floor! It was so high that my ears could barely handle the pressure! However it was so beautiful to see Shanghai from above! Besides that, the food was really delicious! Indeed, it burned a hole in our wallet for eating there..=p but it was worth it! During the dinner, we gave each other the ‘love in our heart’!

Well.. he's coming back (28 days left!!) to pick mi up!^^ Before we go back to Holland, we are going to travel through China! I’m really looking forward to our trip.. =D

happie bday to keung!^^

PARTY PARTYYY!~ Today Keung turned 22! we celebrated his birthday in one of his favorite restaurant, called: Xin Wang restaurant “新旺茶餐厅” (an authentic Cantonese restaurant in Shanghai)

We wanted to surprise him, so we bought him a birthday cake and asked the staff to bring it after finishing our dinner! However, not everything went as wished! We made some stupid mistakes.. =$ (what else can u expect from ‘desperate housewives?’ =p)

1. We were quite late with buying a birthday cake, so the cakes were almost sold out! There was only one left, so we had no choice.. we had to pick that one!
2. The fire of the candles went our automatically before our ‘amazing’ birthday song was finished! We had only sung: “zhu ni shengri kuai……. AAAH!!” Perhaps the fire couldn’t stand our voice!=p Next time we should take singing lessons before singing a birthday song!=$
3. BUTT the biggest mistake we made was…… the number on the candle was wrong!! I thought he turned 23, but it was 22 actually! Muahahah sorry, my fault! But according to the Chinese Lunar Calender u are 23 this year, so I was not totally wrong! In fact, u are in CHINA now so u have to follow the CHINESE principles! HUH!! Hehe just kidding! You can re-use the candles for your next birthday.. muahaha=p

NANCHANG!

The 1st of May till the 3rd of may we’d got a small vacation, so we had planned to go to Nanchang to visit some HES-classmates..

After 5,5 hours of travelling we finally arrived in Nanchang -Jiangxi-! It looks better than expected! I thought that Nanchang was a crappy village!O.o People in Nanchang are much nicer than people in Shanghai! We arrived at night so we directly went to their dormitory, where we stayed for 3 nights!

The second day we went downtown to the shopping centre! It was quite crowded, even though the weather was nasty! It was raining the wholeeee day so we couldn’t take pictures of the city centre!

In the evening we went to a club, called CHIVAS (right?) Haha I can’t remember, because they were calling the club ‘DE BOOT’ because the party took place on a boat/ship!

The third day we went to a chinese restaurant, which was next to the dormitory, for lunch!
I was sick so I couldn’t eat much!=(( but the food looked DELICIOUS!
