when we arrived at Shanghai PuDong airport, we took a mini-bus to get to the hotel!
omgoshhh I noticed that people in china drive like HELL!! they really dont stick to the traffic rules! such a miracle that we arrived safely at the hotel O.owe arrived at the hotel around 17.00u and spent some time showering and changing our clothes because we felt dirty after the long trip we met each other again at 20.00u to have dinner because we were soooooo hungry!
we’d picked the Japanese restaurant which was close to our hotel
the food was realli cheapp! 38 yuan for a BIG bowl udon with seafood!
unfortunately I had limited choices at this restaurant becoz 90% of the food was made with pork!=((
after dinner we went to the supermarket to buy some snacks =p
it was a small supermarket with 2 employees who were staring at us
I bet they were gossiping about us so I asked them: ‘What’s the problem?’ they probably did not understand what i said and started to yell something in shanghainese language =__=” well.. im obviously not from SHANGHAI! damnn those people are weird!
ohh btw I forget to mention.. our hotel is in the city centre which means that there are a lot of shopping centers around!^^ yayy.. shopping shopping shopping *kwijl*

03-02-2009: our apartment
today we had arranged to meet with a man who was willing to rent his apartment! we took the tube to get there! the tube in shanghai differs a lot from the one in holland ^^ it was so interesting!

we are going to move into this apartment on the 10th of february! we’ve signed a 5 month lease, starting from the 8th of february till the 8th of july.
then we went to people’s square (renmin guang chang), a shopping center with shops like Guess, Sisley, Miss sixty, etc etc *kwijl* .. i went to a nailsalon to get a french manicure on my nail for 120 yuan *cheapcheap*

04-02-2009: Huaihai lu
today we were referred to Huaihai lu, which is a famous shopping promenade! there were a lot of famous brand shops!^^

05-02-2009: Qipu Lu
we went to Qi Pu Lu (cheap lu) u might conclude that everything is cheap here! its a huge long street filled with people, shops and malls! once we arrived, a few people were following us trying to get us buying things

06-02-2009: Chinese restaurant
relax day =D i slept till 17.00u! about 20.00u we went out for dinner! this time we wanted to eat real chinese food so we went to a chinese restaurant! it was delicioussssssss! especially the chicken and potato served in bread!
after dinner we went to the salon! my hair really needed a hair masque!=) it was soooo cheap! 40 yuan! in holland its 40 EURO! O.o it was amazing to see how they washed my hair without water! =

7-02-2009: Shanghai Ocean Aquarium
we went to Shanghai Ocean Aquarium (HaiYang Shuizu guan) =D there were a lot of people shoving each other out of the way to get a view of the fish which was really annoying!=@ nevertheless, it was fun and we took a lot of pictures! i liked the underwater tunnels the most!^^
after the aquarium we went to a shopping mall named ‘Super Brand Mall’ we walked around a bit and left after 2 hours for dinner @ Moon steak! *yummiee* such a shame we couldn’t see everything becoz of the lack of time><

8-02-2009: Gameplaza @ PuDong
yesterday we discovered a gameplaza at Super Brand Mall! so today we decided to spend our day gaming and taking pictures!^^ it was really fun! we’ll definitely go back there again.. !
